[Healthy_Recipes_For_Diabetic_Friends] Re: Chipotle Dry Rub with Sage - 8.7g Carbs, 2.1g Fiber, 2.1g Sugar

 

I wondered the same thing! Apparently it is the garlic that is the biggest contributor to the carbs and sugar.

I hope this helps out... and does not confuse anyone!

This is the list of ingredients for the spice mix:
1 Tbsp ground sage
1 Tbsp granulated garlic
1 tsp ground chipotle peppers
1 tsp ground allspice

This is the measurement for the entire recipe with a total size of:
16g Omitting the Ground Chipotle Chile since the detailed information was not displayed in the listings used.
