Persian Yogurt and Shallot Dip - Mast-o-Musir

1 small shallot -- finely diced
16 oz greek yogurt -- (lebni) or 32 oz whole yogurt drained under weights overnight. This is calcualted using fat-free greek yogurt.

Place the lebni and shallots in a bowl.
Mix them thoroughly. Cover and place in the fridge for a few hours. Serve with regular potato chips or pita chips.

Serves 4

AuthorNote: some people use dried shallots and soak them in water for a day and then boil them to get a milder flavor.
