HeartSmart Buffalo Coleslaw with Blue Cheese

1/4 cup reduced-fat sour cream
1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
2 tablespoons minced green onion
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoon Cajun seasoning -- (such as McCormick Cajun Seasoning)
3 dashes hot sauce -- (3 to 4) (such as Frank's Red Hot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce)
4 cups shredded green cabbage
1 cup shredded purple cabbage
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, green onion, chili
sauce, mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning and hot
sauce. Place the green cabbage, purple cabbage and carrot in a large bowl.
Add dressing and toss to coat. Add blue cheese and gently combine. Cover
and refrigerate 2 hours, allowing flavors to blend.
Serves: 8

We used McCormick Cajun Seasoning in today's recipe because of its very
reasonable sodium content, just 80 milligrams per 1/4 teaspoon.
Per serving: 66 calories (68% from fat), 5 grams fat (2 grams sat. fat, 0
grams trans fat), 5 grams carbohydrates, 2 grams protein, 193 mg sodium,
10 mg cholesterol, 57 mg calcium, 1 gram fiber. Food exchanges: 1
vegetable, 1 fat.
