    2        Tablespoons  vegetable oil
    1                cup  frozen green peas
    1             medium  onion -- chopped

AuthorNote: When I was a kid, my mother used to cook this dish for my
birthday parties because, although it was Chinese food, most of the kids
and their parents liked it. I remember one friend in particular, Duane,
who refused to eat Chinese food, but he loved this dish because it
reminded him of hamburgers. He's probably a food critic somewhere in the
  world today.
