Natala's Chocolate Cherry Shake

  1 ripe frozen banana  
  1 cup frozen cherries  
  2 cups fresh spinach  
  1 cup nondairy milk 
  2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa  
  1 Tablespoon vegan chocolate chips -- (optional)  
  1 cherry -- for garnish (optional)
  
  Blend all ingredients (except the optional chocolate chips and cherry garnish) until smooth, adding more liquid as necessary. Garnish with chocolate chips and a cherry.
