Stepfs BEST Choco-Almond Butter - 8.4g Carbs, 1.7g Fiber, 6.1g Sugar

Chef Meg's Tip of the Day - -
Swap walnuts for the almonds and you'll yield a fluffy nut butter
that is almost like frosting.

Sam challenged me to create something to cure his Nutella addiction.
This recipe was just the ticket! No hydrogenated oils, fewer calories,
less fat--and more fiber and protein! You could make this with hazelnuts
and it would be more like Nutella--or any other nut you like.
Prepare: 10 min
Cook: 10 min
Servings: 16

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup almonds

Roast almonds: Either bake at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes or microwave
for 1 minute on high. (I recommend the oven.)

While still warm, place almonds in a food processor and process for
five minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Once the almonds have the consistency of almond butter, add the chocolate
chips and process until thoroughly combined.

From: SP_STEPF - It can be refrigerated for several weeks.
