My heart goes out to you. Jeremy is now at peace. People say time will heal our grief, but underneath it doesn't heal. I lost my mother 16 years ago and I am still grieving for her. I just lost my most wonderful companion my Poodle who was also my shadow. I shall also grieve for her, as she also took a big part of my heart with her.
Jeremy knew that you were there or him the whole time, and the piece of your heart went with him.

We went to see him all we could. I sat next to him not sure he could hear us
His hands kept flailing... I held his hand for a long time. It calmed him
and he seemed to be more at rest. Just a few hours later, just before
midnight Jeremy died and went to Heaven to be with all the loved ones who
went before us. He took a piece of my heart with him to Heaven tonight.
To Jeremy: Good bye for now... I will see you in Heaven soon! In the
