RE: [Healthy_Recipes_For_Diabetic_Friends] Peanut Butter

Like several others have said natural peanut butter oils will separate in
storage. Here are some tips on using it. You need to thoroughly mix the
oil back into the product before using it. If you don't mix it completely
by the time you get to the bottom of the jar you have a dry mass of peanut
butter that doesn't taste as good and chances are you ate some that was a
little to oil some time earlier. To make mixing the oil back into the PB
easier, store the unopened and jars that are more than ½ full on the shelf
upside down. That way the oil floats to the "bottom" and is much easier to
mix back in without having the oil sloshing out.

Yes, natural PB takes a little extra care but I think the taste is much
better than the homogenized sugar laden "regular" PB

I opened a jar of *Sunland* brand Peanut Butter and found the product to be
excessively oily. I tasted it and found the it not of my liking. I am not
sure if it is just me, so I want to get others opinions about the oily
nature (oil floating on top).
