Mediterranean Tuna Pita
2 6 oz. cans canned solid white tuna in water, drained
1/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1/4 cup lowfat mayonnaise
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon dry basil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 ripe tomato, sliced
1 cucumber, sliced
2 pita breads
canned sliced ripe olives
Combine tuna, yogurt, mayonnaise and seasonings; mix well and chill.
Cut pita bread in half; fill pockets with tomato, cucumber, tuna mixture
and top with olives.
Makes 4 servings.
