Easy Unstuffed Stuffed Cabbage - 21.4g Carbs, 3g Fiber, 6.4g Sugar

While I like this flavored as it, feel free to add spice to your tastes.

1 lb ground beef, lean (I use the 93/7 blend)
1 cup onion, diced
3 cups cabbage, diced
1 (14.5oz can) stewed tomatoes
1 (8oz can) Tomato Sauce, (no salt) (I used hunt's no salt added)
1/2 cup brown rice, short grain
3 cups beef broth, low sodium (more if you wish)
Pepper, to taste

Brown ground beef in a good non stick pan. When the meat is browned add
the diced onion, sauteing until opaque.

Add the diced cabbage, stewed tomato, tomato sauce, 1/2 cup brown rice,
and 3 cups beef broth. Add pepper to taste. Let come to a boil then turn
down to a simmer for 30 to 45 minutes covered.
