Here is the best Clam Chowder recipe ever!! And it's easy too.
Clam Chowder
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups diced potatoes
2 cans Chopped Clams with juice
3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons red vinegar
1 cup chopped celery
3/4 cup margerine
1 quart Half & Half
In one pan - pour clam juice over vegetables, and enough water to cover. Simmer on medium heat until tender. In another pan, melt margerine, add flour and blend together. Add half and half and cook while stirring until smooth and thick. Add undrained vegetables, clams & vinegar with above mixture, heat through, season with salt and pepper to taste. Yummy!!
I use 3 cans of clams instead of 2, just because I like alot of clams in my chowder. Enjoy!!
