[Healthy_Recipes_For_Diabetic_Friends] Re: Recipe conversation website

I wanted to explain the easy way to enter recipes at this site:

www.caloriecount.about.com

Go to the site.. it is free to join!

Go to the above site: on the upper row where it has:
Logging - Community - Foods - Exercise - Tools - Advice - Blog
Go to: "Foods" and scroll down to: "New Recipe"

Enter the ingredients only!! on the first section/page. You may have to adjust for how an ingredient is written. There is help there for that. I find it very easy to learn and once entered it gives the info for the nutrition and lots of good stuff... like rating each ingredient like "A" "B" "C" ... any recipe you enter can be saved to the site.

Once the ingredients are entered then if you wish you can save to your recipes there... or just copy and paste the info you wish to keep!

I find this site most helpful... and much easier than some.... I find many recipes that I know are good but still wish to have the breakdown of nutrition and find this an easy way to get it!

Take care,
Gloria
