Crunchy Snow Peas with Almonds - 10g Carbs

For a crispy twist on snow peas, heat them up and toss with lemon
juice. Then, sprinkle on fresh shallots, almonds and Mrs. Dash
Onion & Herb Blend.
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 4 min to 5 min
Serves: 4
1 Tbsp Mrs. Dash Onion & Herb Seasoning Blend
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 lb snow peas, trimmed
4 tsp fresh lemon juice
4 tsp minced shallots
2 Tbsp slivered unsalted toasted almonds
Warm the olive oil in a small saute pan.
Turn the heat to medium and add the snow peas. Toss quickly and add
a few drops of water. Toss again. Cook about 3-4 minutes, leaving the
snow peas crisp.
Add the lemon juice and toss again.
Spoon on to a serving plate, sprinkle with the fresh shallots, the
almonds and Mrs. Dash Onion & Herb Seasoning Blend. Add a Tbsp. of
the cooking juices, spooned over the pea pods.
