Grilled Garlic Shrimp - 3.5g Total Carbs

Servings: 6

2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup tomato sauce
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp basil, fresh chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Add to a bowl the 3 minced garlic cloves, 1/3 cup of olive oil, 1/4 cup of tomato sauce and the 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar and stir.

Add the 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped basil, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and stir.

Add the 2 pounds of peeled deveined shrimp, tossing to coat. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 45 minutes, tossing the shrimp every 15 minutes.

Slightly oil a grill and heat to medium.

Skewer the shrimp and cook for 3 minutes, then turn over and cook another 3 minutes. Do not reuse the marinade simply throw it away. Serve hot shrimp immediately.
